How To Survive Infidelity - Dynamite Tips On What to Do Next If You're The One Who Cheated

By Doug Young

How to survive infidelity in your relationship or marriage has to be handled differently in the initial stages depending upon whether you're the one who cheated or the one who's been cheated on.

If you messed up, you cheated on your partner and now you want to get things back on track here's some dynamite tips...

You're likely to feel guilty, exposed, scared, uncertain and foolish amongst other things and in times like this when you're emotionally charged it's very easy to say or do things that you might regret later. Here's what you should do:

1. Stay calm as much as you can when your partner confronts you with an inevitable barrage of questions, snipes and insults. Let them know that you're ready and willing to answer all their questions truthfully and that you're not prepared to get confrontational, not because you're trying to be smart but because it won't help.

2. Be aware of your tone when talking to your partner and answering their questions as that's even more important than the actual words you say.

3. Tell your close family and friends yourself. The chances are your partner will be gunning for you and will tell them anyway, so if they're going to get caught up in the crossfire they will probably prefer hearing it from you.

4. Recognise that your partner is going to need time and space to come to terms with the situation and to decide what they want to do. Pushing them into talking about the situation before they're ready won't help.

5. Don't think that simply saying sorry is going to solve everything. It's much more beneficial to instead tell your partner what you've learnt from it all.

6. Get some advice on how to survive infidelity from someone who's been in your position so knows exactly how you're feeling and can guide you step by step what to do next.

Healing After an Affair - How to Survive Infidelity

By Gillian Reynolds

Unfortunately many marriages today are impacted by one spouse committing adultery. Even though we tend to assume that it's the husband who wanders outside the marriage vows more often, that's not always the case. If you have been cheated on you are likely feeling an entire range of difficult emotions. Even with all the pain and frustration you are experiencing you may feel that you want to save the marriage. There are things you can do that will help with the process of healing after an affair. If you want your marriage to survive infidelity you must first give yourself time.

It's important when you are focused on healing after an affair to try and let the anger go. You likely experienced a feeling of unending rage after discovering the person you were married to was being unfaithful. Anger is a very intense emotion and if you are constantly mad at your spouse it's going to damage the relationship, maybe to the point that it's not salvageable. Getting past the anger can be a challenge but you must try to do it. It's really the foundation you need to start rebuilding the relationship.

Talking to someone understanding and open minded can be incredibly helpful when you are dealing with the aftermath of infidelity. Although it's always a wise idea to seek out the help of a therapist, if you have a trusted friend they can prove beneficial too. You just need someone who can understand the range of emotions that you are experiencing and also a person who will listen without passing judgment on either you or your spouse. Another way to express everything that you are feeling is to keep a journal. You can write in it as often as you feel it's necessary. This is a great tool to help you vent your emotions without it impacting your relationship with your spouse.

Concentrating on all the things that have been positive within your marriage goes a long way to help with healing after an affair. If you and your spouse spent a lot of time enjoying a hobby together or you used to take vacations, just the two of you, do that again. You need to work together to rediscover what drew you to one another in the first place. Spend time together doing things you both love and you'll feel that special connection with each other again.

Unfortunately there are times when one partner in a marriage indulges in an affair. It can leave the marriage broken and both partners feeling they've lost all hope of reconciliation. There are things you can do, with or without the aid of your spouse to get your marriage back into the loving place it once was. 3 Ways To Catch A Cheating Spouse

By Matt Murren

Do you have suspicions that your spouse is a cheater? A cheating spouse can be one of the most painful and devastating events in your life. Living in the dark can also be worse than just knowing the truth. Just the prospect that your spouse is cheating can be enough to drive you insane. In this article, we are going to cover three (3) ways to catch your cheating spouse.

The first way to catch your spouse cheating is to hire a private investigator your PI as they are sometimes referred to. Private investigators often specialize in surveillance and can assist you in a discretionary way in identifying if you gut instincts are correct.

The process will typically begin with an interview in private so the PI can get the details needed to start their investigation. Most investigators use state of the art technology to provide hard evidence your spouse is cheating. Most often this evidence holds up in court if you need proof of infidelity.

These services often include tracking Email and Internet activity, vehicle tracking, electronic eavesdropping, and email tracing. Make sure that you find a certified investigator in your state. Most states required licensing for private investigators.

The second way to catch your unfaithful spouse is to purchase tracking and surveillance equipment on your own. You can buy GPS tracking and other eavesdropping equipment that will help you prove your spouse is a cheater. If you are comfortable using a PC and are willing to do some of the work yourself, this can often be a much less expensive way. If you suspect your spouse is cheating on you in your own house there are many video surveillance options you can purchase that will record the video to a computer or tape for you to review later.

The third way to catch your spouse is to watch for changes in behavior. If you are alert you may find signs that do not require any monitoring at all. Some of these signs are:

· Your spouse works overtime but is not getting extra pay

· You find your spouse spending more time on the computer after you are in bed

· Your spouse quits wearing a wedding ring

· You find lipstick or perfume on your spouses clothes

· You find less money in your bank account than normal

· You notice a change in attitude towards everyone in the home

· Uses low voice or whispers when talking on the phone or cell phone

These are of course only a few signs of a cheating spouse. More often than not, changes in behavior will key you off that something just isn’t right. Often this is enough to approach your spouse, and confront them on why they seem to be acting different. This might be enough to get the issue on the table.

The first two options will cost you a bit of money. If you are looking at dealing with a child custody case or divorce proceedings, often the private investigator is the way to go.

Your Spouse Might Be Cheating On You - Here's How You Can Find Out For Sure

By Sam Thompson

If you are either married or in a committed relationship, you may have wondered before if your partner is cheating on you. It's amazing how many people "stray", and it's unfortunate that infidelity rates are at an all-time high.

With this fact in mind, we wanted to give you a tool you can use to find out for sure if you're spouse is being unfaithful. Let's be honest - it's a horrible suspicion to have to live with. In this situation, you absolutely deserve to know the truth.

This method involves two steps - let's go over them so you can get right to it.

Step #1

The key to this method is that it will let you find out who your spouse has been communicating with. Your first step will require you to be just a touch on the sneaky side.

I say this because you need to get a hold of your spouse's cell phone and look at it for about 10-15 minutes. You have to pick a good time for this since you don't want your spouse walking in on you.

Once you have their phone in your hand, you are going to look over their entire call history. Look for both the incoming and outgoing call history sections and write down each phone number that is listed.

Make sure that you write down every phone number that you see. When you are done, put back the phone and move on to step#2

The Second Step

Now that you have a list of phone numbers that your partner has been communicating with, you know need to find out who owns each one of these phone numbers.

You can find out a lot about someone by having only their phone number. You can discover somebody's name and address along with their background information when all you have is their "digits".

There are businesses that specialize in obtaining phone records for all phone number (including cell phones and unlisted numbers). These companies put together databases that hold information on every phone number. People can then search through these databases if they need to "investigate" a certain phone number.

You can use this type of search (it's called a reverse phone lookup) online. It's easy to do - you type in the phone number, click a button, and the information on the person immediately gets displayed on your computer screen. We included a link at the bottom of this article where you can try out a free sample search to see how it works.

To use this service you will have to pay a small fee. It's inexpensive though and you can find companies that only charge a one-time flat fee that gives you access to unlimited searches. You will only be billed once and can then run a search on as many phone numbers as you want.

Go through the entire list of phone numbers and run a search on each one. As you are doing this make sure to write down the information you find out about each one on the same sheet of paper.

Once you are done you are going to have full details on everyone that your partner has been talking to. This makes it easy to spot if anything suspicious is happening - anything "fishy" will jump off the page at you.

A great part of this tactic is that no one will ever know what you are doing. It's completely confidential and you don't have to hire any outside help - you can do it all on your own.

Remember that if you have any reason to believe that your partner may be cheating on you, then you can't let yourself just sit there and wonder if there is anything going on. You need to get to the bottom of it - this method will get you the answers you need quickly and easily. All the best.

Once a Cheat

By Lizette Balsdon

Once a cheat, always a cheat - or so the saying goes.

This logic is based on the assumption that infidelity and the adrenaline rush that goes with running around another person's back, is addictive.

It is my opinion that for some people that is the case, but for some it's a once-off extravagance. I know of couples who have successful relationships that started as a result of infidelity. The opposite is true to - where one partner cheats over and over again and even have long-standing extramarital affairs.

In relationships that started as a result of infidelity, the seriousness of the relationship is often questioned for many years by acquaintances. This is the case with *Sarah who was in a relationship when she fell in love with *Tom, who was also in a long-standing relationship.

After close to a decade, Sarah still feels that Tom's old friends' wives are wary of her. The male friends on the other hand, view her as 'easy' and therefore they will sometimes flirt with her. This makes Sarah feel cheap. Both her and Tom never cheated before their affair or on one another after the affair and since they got married.

On the other hand, do you trust a guy who cheated on his ex not to cheat on you? His word alone may not be enough to guarantee fidelity. Remember, he did lie to his ex too.

The best approach is guarded optimism. Many people learn from their mistakes and ensure never to slip up again. Treat everyone as an individual instead of putting them in a certain category they may have outgrown.
